"Bella d' Inverno" is one of the variegated sedums, with the new growth starting out pale, almost white or cream. My stock comes from a plant that had the "Bella d' Inverno" tag on it, but I have to tell you it looks a bit different that many of the pictures I've seen. Happily, I like the coloration mine has better, and I hope you do, too.
Instead of the variegation looking really white, it is more cream colored, hence the variegation looks more yellow in the summer. Winter color (as pictured), takes on typical red tinting, so the variegation is a pretty spring pink. As spring progresses, the pale pink will give way to cream and there is a point which the rosettes have three colors at once: green, pinkish red, and cream. Very striking!
Like most all the Sedum Albums, this forms a low-growing mat, with stalks of white flower clusters. The colors on this sedum make it an outstanding choice for a focal point sedum container garden. 4"Pot, unless shipping.
