I purchased the mother plant of this hybrid with, unfortunately no other information except "Double White", so have no cultivar information. I can tell you that the double flowers are huge and amazing.
This plant seems to appreciate warmer days more than many Brugmansias and when we had the heat, here on the Kitsap Peninsula, it would put on fast growth. It can also take a bit more sun because of this. During rainy periods, you have to keep an eye on the very fat buds, because, like English roses, they can be prone to rot. Slugs and earwigs also loved these blooms.
All in all, although this Brugmansia requires a bit more fussing over than others, it is extremely rewarding when dozens of pendant double white bells are open for display.
Available in 4" pots only until June.
